2001scape Cooking Guide

I discovered the most efficient method to get Cooking XP in 2001scape, and it was further perfected by Orbrun, who wrote this guide - thanks Oarbi! It only gives you Cooking XP, and it's up to you if you want to kill giant rats or chickens (both can be found nearby) instead in order to also get combat XP.

It's mostly good at higher cooking levels (think 35+) when the burn rate lowers, until then it's better to kill chickens in the Champions Guild and cook there.

The method requires a stack of coins, 7 buckets of water, and 7 pie dishes.

In Port Sarim at Wydin's grocery shop, you buy 7 pots of flour and 7 raw meat, then, while walking west towards the house in Rimmington with the 1 inventory space you have left, you use pot of flour on water bucket and make pastry dough, then use pastry dough on pie dish to make pie shell and make all 7 pie shells.

You then cook all 7 meat on the range in that house, use all 7 pie shells on the meat to make uncooked meat pies, then cook the 7 pies and fill the 7 buckets with water from the sink nearby, then eat/empty the cooked/burnt pies while walking back to Wydin's grocery shop.

I tested this out with 6 per inventory and it took me 3m 16s from opening his shop, doing the whole process including time spent buying/waiting in shop (13 seconds per item) and cooking it all and walking back and opening shop again, which is how the rate is 12.2k XP/hour.
